Minglewood Sport Horses

Sarlone was one of the last direct daughters of Marlon when she came to Minglewood in 1999.  Sarlone (Marlon/Aldato/Roman, stamm 223b) was 19 years old at the time, and had previously had several foals, all of which were fillies.  Sarlone had three foals for us, the last in 2004 at age 24.  Sarlone's foals are: Parlona (2000 mare by Ariadus), Ting (2003 mare by Camiros) and Landewin (2004 stallion by Linaro).  Tragically, we lost Sarlone in 2004, when Landewin was only two months old. Sarlone was the best mare that ever walked the pastures at Minglewood.  We still mourn her loss.  Thank you to Cathy Mundt for making it possible for us to become Holsteiner breeders and share Sarlone's last years.
